11 weeks today will be Christmas Day – that means 2 sleeps till we leave Melbourne !
This week we’ve discussed making small changes to our daily lives to improve general health and fitness. Day light saving started last week so that means there’s no excuse for sitting on the couch each night . I’ll be hitting the park and the beach with Ned – our Jack Russell – as well as some strength training. Whatever you do it has to be achievable and sustainable at home. We’ll work together and spur each other on.
Although this kind of sailing is not super strenuous it could be in bursts – you never know what Mother Nature has planned – so improved upper body strength and general fitness is a bonus.
Anthony will be working on some more passage planning this week.
