I was born on a Farm in Tasmania and studied agriculture when I left school.
After finishing my studies, I travelled and worked in Agriculture overseas. Spending time in New Zealand, England and Iran.
On my way home from Overseas, I managed to talk my way into sailing in the “BIG BOAT SERIES” on San Francisco Bay. After this I crewed on yachts, being transported down the West Coast of America. This started my interest in sailing.
During my working and married life I have sailed often on other people’s boats, in Australia and overseas.
In 2012 I decided to buy a small 19’ trailer sailor so as to gain more experience on my own boat. Having our own boat and being part of a sailing club has enabled me to gain more sailing experience. The club has given me the opportunity to crew in some of the local races on Westernport Bay.
On Returning to Australia after my travels, I moved to Melbourne where I worked on an Agriculture project with Elders IXL. This lead me into the world of business. I then became involved in technology and most of my working life in Melbourne has been in technology and Business.
