I was born and lived in Tasmania prior to being married, when I finished school I studied nursing, and after completing my training I travelled overseas for nearly a year. Since being married to Chris (also a Tasmanian) I have lived and worked in Melbourne.
We have two adult children also living in Melbourne.
I have always been active in sport, hockey, tennis, water-skiing, and snow skiing.
When the children were young we chartered yachts on the Gippsland lakes, and in the Whitsundays with an experienced sailing friend.
In more recent years we have bought a 19’ trailer sailor with the intention to learn more about sailing. This boat lives at the Hasting Yacht club. Having joined the club we have also crewed in races on other boats.
I am looking forward to sailing the Caribbean with an experienced crew and exploring the islands for food and culture during our stopovers.
