DAY 15. 11/1/2017

Well so much for our idyllic bar on the beach! Round 1 (us) – calypso music – we played a calypso version of spicks and specks – name that tune Round 2  – electronic doof doof – I have no idea what time it finished !

6 bleary eyed sailors surfaced at 0330 to leave for Deshaies. Despite weariness we had a good 12 hour crossing. During the crossing we were swooped, not by a bird but a plane! We couldn’t believe it – he got soooo close! This is a destination I’ve been excited about – Death in Paradise Bay. For those of you who haven’t watched it you must watch just one episode to see just where we are. There is always a scene looking down to the harbour, a red roofed church and little bars right on the beach. It is gorgeous! French territory now so afternoon tea is French pastries and a glass of champagne (not French)

Thanks Barb for a yummy stir fry vege dinner and not long after we all said ‘Bon soir ‘
