Sailed from Deschaies to Antigua into Falmouth Harbour. This Harbour is also home to Nelson’s Dockyard – yes Ryan I’ve got a photo – and is still a working naval base.
Lots of super yachts – my god they’re enormous and most seem just to have crew on board I guess waiting for the call to pick up the owners from somewhere exotic.
Woild you believe there’s a group of Brits ( naval types) who get together every day for a tot of rum to continue the traditional naval custom. Had a yum meal at Flatties – great local food.
Also met old friends of Sheri Farrell’s – Peta and Coogee and their son Sam. Lovely chat – thanks Peta – what a place you live !
