What a way to start a day!!

We offically HATE anchoring – 4am anchor alarm went off cos we were drifting. Needless to say we left as soon as it was light heading for St Kitts. A good 5 hours sailing and motoring – thank god could dock in the harbour – no anchoring! Cleared customs (now on English water and soil) Now flying the StKitts and Nevis flag. St Kitts have built, right next to the harbour, this big shopping area for all the big cruise ship folk- when we got there a ship had left so the casino was still open and one other shop. The rest looked like a deserted movie set. They’re also building a new super Harbour for the super yachts. We didn’t realise that we’d parked next to the party cruise boat – around 5 the police, army and sniffer dog arrived and checked everyone going on board. We did wonder if this was normal?? Anyhow off they motored and partied out at sea to return about 1130.
